For Institutions

Goodman Financial has extensive experience managing investments for institutions. We work closely with organizations to develop and implement a tailored Investment Policy Statement that aligns with their unique objectives.

Our team has firsthand knowledge of the issues and challenges institutions face, as several members have served on or chaired various institutional boards, finance committees, and investment committees.

We take the time to learn about your organization, its needs, and its mission. With this understanding, we work to find the best way to serve you and ensure effective communication with your leadership and staff.

Whether your organization’s purpose is charitable giving, community service, providing scholarships, member services, or funding retirement benefits, we focus on managing your investments so that you can focus on achieving your organization’s goals.

Serving Your Organization

For an organization’s investments, having an Investment Policy Statement (IPS) in place is essential. This guiding document outlines the parameters for managing the organization’s investment portfolio, defining investment objectives and allowable investment options to achieve those goals. At Goodman Financial, we will work with you to create an IPS that aligns with your organization’s preferences and goals, or review the one you already have in place. As your organization evolves and goals shift, we will assist in adjusting the IPS accordingly.

Additionally, we work closely with the officers and professional advisors of each organization to provide the investment portfolio information necessary to complete the organization’s reporting duties, grant making, and financial statement and tax return preparation. We also prepare investment performance reports and are available to present the investment results to your officers, board, investment committee, or any other appropriate parties within your organization.
