Estate Planning
From setting up beneficiary designations to developing complex estate distribution strategies, we help clients create an estate plan that reflects the legacy they wish to leave. We then work directly with your estate planning attorney to ensure the plan is properly implemented.
Estate Documents
We routinely review client estate documents, such as wills, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and trusts, to ensure they accurately reflect your intent and work with your attorney to make any necessary updates.
Having these documents in place is crucial for the efficient distribution of your estate, giving you peace of mind knowing that your assets will go to the appropriate heirs. Your heirs will also benefit from a smoother probate process.
In addition to coordinating your estate documents, we regularly review your beneficiaries and account titling to ensure that assets passing outside of probate are properly integrated into your overall estate plan.

Giving While Living
Part of estate planning and one’s legacy involves considering what you give while you’re alive. Rather than leaving a larger inheritance at death, it can be rewarding to provide loved ones and charities with assets today, allowing you to experience the impact you are making in the lives of others.
We work closely with our clients to help them give to family members and their favorite charities in a way that is sustainable within their financial plan and aligned with their overall goals.
These strategies consider estate and gift tax laws, as well as the most effective ways to give to charity. Some strategies may include contributing to a donor-advised fund and itemizing deductions, while others may look at making a Qualified Charitable Distribution from a Traditional IRA.
Clients’ Best Interest Is Our Top Priority
If you do not have an estate plan in place and don’t know where to start, or have a plan but have not reviewed it in a while, schedule some time to meet with one of our advisors.
