Morgann Zimmer Recognized for Exemplary Leadership by TXCPA Houston

Goodman Financial Corporation is proud to announce Senior Financial Advisor Morgann Zimmer, CFP®, has been recognized by the Houston Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA Houston) for her outstanding contributions over the past year. Morgann was honored with TXCPA Houston’s “Outstanding Committee Chair” award for her exemplary leadership of the Young Professionals Committee.

Upon assuming this leadership role, Morgann immediately established a robust support network of leaders and organized working groups to streamline planning processes. She remained actively involved in meeting planning and outreach efforts to new members and young professionals. TXCPA Houston commends her active participation, enthusiasm, and engagement with the CPA community, particularly notable given that she is a non-CPA.

Steve Goodman, President of Goodman Financial, remarked, “We are incredibly proud of Morgann’s achievement and her dedication to GFC’s core values. This award reflects our firm’s culture of giving back to the community and fostering professional growth. At Goodman Financial, we believe in the power of leadership, service, and supporting the development of future professionals.”

TXCPA Houston operates nearly 30 committees, which are the cornerstone of the Chapter’s success. Recently, TXCPA Houston leaders recognized a select group of volunteers whose exceptional efforts significantly contributed to the organization’s achievements over the past year.
