Goodman Financial Joins the March for Babies

Goodman Financial was proud to join the fight for healthy moms and babies and the annual March for Babies walk hosted by the March of Dimes on Sunday, May 6 at the University of Houston. GFC joined 30,000 other Houstonians in the nation’s largest March for Babies.

“Waking up early on a Sunday was definitely worth it to be a part of this great event and support this worthwhile cause,” says Charlotte Jungen. “It was a great experience.”

For over 80 years the March of Dimes has been committed to giving all moms and babies a brighter future by giving each one the best possible start. They raise money to fund research to reduce infant mortality and other complications during pregnancies, as well as provide financial and emotional support to moms who need it. They are committed to helping all moms and babies, especially babies that are premature or sick.

With a cause like that, its difficult to say no. Team GFC laced up their shoes and joined the march, completing the 4.5 mile walk around the University of Houston and surrounding area. The walk was sprinkled with ice cream bars, cold water bottles. DJs and photo ops, making the march for healthy babies even more enjoyable.
